Neocore Wave A4 Tsunami 50W Review

The first surprise that most people experience when they open / unbox their Neocore Wave A4 Tsunami Bluetooth speaker and see it for the first time, is how big it is. Most users / reviewers were expecting it to be much smaller. But no, the A4 is fairly big for what most people have come to expect in terms of the size of a Bluetooth speaker.

With this extra size comes bigger, richer sounding speakers. The quality of the A4's sound is very good. It sounds rich, deep, and has an excellent bass range for its size. This high quality sound is due to the speaker set-up in the A4. It has 6 speakers in total. 4, yes four drivers and 2 subwoofers. So, as you can imagine, and as you may have read if looking at other reviews of the A4 Tsunami, it is noted as being very loud.

Some users have compared the A4 to other models, including some from brand JBL and even BOSE, and some users have stated that the A4 can hold its own extremely well. Some even say the A4 is louder than the JBL Xtreme (MK1). To get a sneak- peak, hear it in action in the video below.

While the A4 is a large Bluetooth speaker (considered as medium to big), it's not too big to the point that its no longer considered as portable, because it is still portable. However, you will need a to place it inside some sort of bag if you want to take it with you and use it while out and about on the move. It does come complete with a strap, so it can be carried fairly easily.
